What is a Myers Cocktail?
Dr Myers was a brilliant scientist who designed an infusion of vitamins and elements that are required by the human body. He gave these cocktails to his patients who reported positive experiences. Due to advertising laws in Australia we cannot claim that this infusion will give you more energy, or help fight migraines or fatigue. We can tell you that the infusion consist of nutrients that your body needs that are often used up in the stress of everyday living. It is taught to us in childhood that Vitamin C is essential. It is essential for healing, growing and metabolising. The lack of Vitamin C in a diet will cause Scurvey which causes bones to be softer which bend and break with little stress. Although this is thought to be a condition of the past, the Western diet of fast foods can mean that we are lacking in this basic nutrient found in many fruits and vegetables. With the daily recommended intake 75mg for women and 90mg for men, many of us do not meet this quota. A powerful antioxidant it helps to bind free radicals which are left over from metabolism and create oxidative stress. If these free radicals are not bound by antioxidants the body has to work harder when fighting infections and growing.
